1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FileConvertGo (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Responsible Use

You agree to use the Service in a lawful and responsible manner. You must not attempt to disrupt, degrade, or impair the Service or its underlying infrastructure. Automated scripts, bots, or any form of programmatic access without explicit permission are prohibited.

3. Ownership of Uploaded Files

You retain full ownership of all files you upload to the Service. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content. Files are processed solely to perform the operation you request and are automatically deleted after the retention period.

4. Temporary File Processing

Uploaded files are temporarily stored on our servers for the sole purpose of performing the requested processing operation. Files are automatically and permanently deleted after 2 hours. We do not access, share, or use your files beyond what is required to complete your request.

5. Prohibited Uses

You must not use the Service for any of the following:

• Uploading or distributing malware, viruses, or any malicious code
• Uploading illegal, unlawful, or fraudulent content
• Uploading material that infringes on the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of others
• Uploading confidential, classified, or otherwise sensitive files without proper authorisation
• Attempting to bypass, circumvent, or exceed usage quotas or rate limits

6. Usage Limits

File processing is currently unlimited for all users, subject to fair use and rate limits.

• Guest users: Unlimited successful file processing uses without an account.
• Registered users: Unlimited successful uses across all tools.
• Batch operations: Each individual file processed within a batch or multi-file operation counts separately toward your usage limit. For example, merging 3 PDFs consumes 3 uses, and converting 5 images counts as 5 uses.

Only successful processing completions are counted. Failed, cancelled, or errored operations do not consume your available uses. Limits apply across all tools collectively, not per tool.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

8. Conversion Accuracy

Conversion and processing results depend on the quality and complexity of the source file, the selected output format, and the underlying server tools. We do not guarantee that output will preserve all formatting, layout, fonts, or visual elements of the original file. Users should review processed output and retain backups of original files.

9. Security Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or security breach. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileConvertGo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Services

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features, tools, or functionality at any time without prior notice. We may also change applicable usage limits, file size restrictions, or supported formats as needed.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
